Why are some recombinant proteins lyophilized? +

Lyophilization (freeze-drying) significantly increases the stability and shelf life of recombinant proteins. It reduces degradation and allows long-term storage without deep freezers. However, improper reconstitution might cause minor activity loss; always follow the datasheet instructions. BioCrest Sci optimizes lyophilization cycles to preserve bioactivity.

What is the expiry date of recombinant proteins? +

BioCrest Sci guarantees protein stability for at least 1 year from the date of shipment when stored under the recommended conditions (lyophilized at -20°C or as stated). Reconstituted solutions should be used promptly or aliquoted and stored at -80°C to maintain activity.

How to reconstitute lyophilized powder? +

We recommend using sterile water or the specific buffer mentioned in the product datasheet. Gently swirl (do not vortex) until completely dissolved. Centrifuge briefly if needed. For full details, refer to the batch-specific protocol available on our product page.

What is the endotoxin level of your proteins? +

Endotoxin levels are tested and indicated on the datasheet for proteins intended for sensitive assays (typical < 0.1 EU/µg). If not listed, please contact our support team — we recommend ordering a small vial for pilot testing to ensure compatibility with your application.

Can BioCrest Sci products be used in/on humans? +

No. All BioCrest Sci recombinant proteins, antibodies, and kits are strictly for research & laboratory purposes only. They are not intended for diagnostic, therapeutic, or human administration.

Do you provide Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)? +

Yes, absolutely. MSDS documents are available upon request. Please email us at info@biocrestsci.com with the product lot number, and we will send the safety datasheet within 24 hours.

Do you offer custom monoclonal / polyclonal antibody production? +

Yes — BioCrest Sci provides end-to-end custom antibody services including monoclonal, polyclonal, recombinant antibody production, antibody humanization, and nanobody development. Our Antibody Platform supports every stage from antigen design to hybridoma screening and purification.

Do you express full-length multi-transmembrane proteins? +

What protein purification services are available? +

Where are BioCrest Sci products shipped from? +

All products are shipped from our US laboratory (Massachusetts) via FedEx, UPS, or DHL Express. International shipping is available worldwide, with real-time tracking and temperature-controlled packaging for lyophilized and cold-chain products.

What payment methods do you accept? Do you accept Purchase Orders? +

What is your return & replacement policy? +

Quality is our priority. If a product does not perform as described on the datasheet, please notify us within 12 months of delivery. We will provide a replacement, credit, or refund after technical evaluation. Simply email our support team with the order ID and relevant data.

Can I get a pro-forma invoice before placing an order? +

Certainly. We can issue a pro-forma invoice within a few hours — just email your request to info@biocrestsci.com with product catalog numbers and shipping details. This helps with internal approvals or wire transfer arrangements.
